March 12, 2026
Join us for a presentation by Judith L. Dillon, Esq., Executive Director of the Vermont Labor Relations Board, discussing what municipal employers should know about their roles and obligations when employees seek to organize a new bargaining unit or change their union affiliation. We’ll walk through the petition process, discussing the employer’s obligations in response to a petition and throughout the process – including how and when the employer needs to respond to the petition, what positions may not be included in a bargaining unit, the election process, and collective bargaining.
Presenters:
Julie McKenzie, Deputy General Counsel and Director of PACIF Field Risk Services
Judith L. Dillon, Esq., Executive Director, Vermont Labor Relations Board
