Workplace Matters: Talking About Tough Topics
September 11, 2025
Hard conversations are a regular part of leading well – whether for giving feedback, addressing performance, or navigating sensitive issues. How you handle these moments can strengthen trust, support team success, and reduce risk. In this interactive session, we’ll discuss strategies to plan for and lead difficult conversations with confidence and purpose. We’ll also practice key techniques in breakout sessions so you can apply the concepts in a controlled environment.
Presenter: Julie McKenzie, Assistant General Counsel, PACIF, HR and Employment Specialist; VLCT Risk Management Services
