This course is designed for the individuals at VERB UI Trust members who are responsible for reporting separation requests and responding to unemployment claim inquiries. Representatives from Equifax, VLCT’s partner for unemployment claim management, will give an overview of their CaseBuilder system and explain how to use it to provide Equifax with the information they need to respond to the State’s unemployment claim requests. Prompt responses reduce the potential for the municipality to be penalized with late fees. Attendees will also learn how to look up unemployment claim progress and access detailed claim reporting.
