June 15, 2023 TIME CHANGE: 1:00-3:00 – Preparing for Your Audit, Part II
The second in a three-part series continues our discussion of how to set yourself up for success as the end of the fiscal year approaches. Tasks unique to June will include:

• annual inventory
• working through fixed asset changes
• ensuring interest income is allocated between funds
• performing a final reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts

Additional year-end tasks include checking in on accounts that have monthly or quarterly activity. (e.g., are there twelve electric bills?) and reviewing the timing of your debt. Make a plan to close the books in a timely fashion.
