May 18, 2023 – Preparing for Your Audit, Part I
In this first of a three-part series, participants will learn strategies to plan for the annual audit. It’s never too early to set yourself up for success as the end of the fiscal year approaches (for June 30th entities). May is an ideal time to prepare by reviewing workpapers, to do lists, and last year's audit entries. If there are any tasks or problems you have been putting off, now is the time to address them.

June 15, 2023 TIME CHANGE: 1:00-3:00 – Preparing for Your Audit, Part II
The second in a three-part series continues our discussion of how to set yourself up for success as the end of the fiscal year approaches. Tasks unique to June will include:

• annual inventory
• working through fixed asset changes
• ensuring interest income is allocated between funds
• performing a final reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts

Additional year-end tasks include checking in on accounts that have monthly or quarterly activity. (e.g., are there twelve electric bills?) and reviewing the timing of your debt. Billing will be finalized monthly, with discounts applied at the third training for each quarter if individuals attend all three. $20 per session, or $50 for three.
