The Town of Manchester, Vermont (population 4,300) is recruiting and accepting applications for two (2) Police Officer positions, (1) Full and (1) Part-Time.
The Town of Manchester is seeking energetic, positive-thinking, service-oriented individuals with a strong desire to provide quality police services and who want a rewarding career that combines an excellent work environment with a community rich in family-oriented activities.
Full-Time Police Officers: Candidates with full-time officer certification preferred. The position work schedule is four days on, four days off. Benefit eligible.
The town offers an extensive benefits package for full-time officers, including medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, short-term disability, paid vacation days, participation in the Vermont Municipal Employees Retirement System (Group D), paid sick days, and bonus opportunities.
Part-Time Police Officer: Position work schedule is less than 30 hours per week. Flexible schedule.
