JOIN OUR TEAM— Join a dynamic and impactful team for one of the fastest growing communities in the region! The City of South Burlington is searching for its next Deputy Director of Capital Projects to manage and implement one of the largest municipal CIPs in the state.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: As the Deputy Director of Capital Projects you will:
Manage capital projects and processes for infrastructure related to transportation, including bicycle and pedestrian, recreation & parks, open space areas, and facilities.
Work with the Director of Public Works to prepare and manage division budgets, making recommendations for short- and long-term capital expenditure programs.
Oversee of contracts involving construction, engineering, and grants.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Bachelor’s Degree with course work in construction management, transportation management, engineering, or related field. Six (6) years’ progressively responsible professional experience involving construction management, transportation management, or engineering, equivalency considered. Possesses a valid Vermont Driver License.
SALARY RANGE: $105,000 - $115,000 annually
