Seasonal Snow Plow Driver (November – April)

$35 per hour! ($52.50/hour after 40 hours per week!)

$1,000 End of Season Bonus!

The Town of Stowe is looking for a reliable, hardworking, safety-minded individual to join our highway team as a Seasonal Snow Plow Driver. In this essential role, you will help keep our roads clear, our town connected, and our community safe throughout the winter season.

We’re looking for someone who:

Is experienced operating heavy plow and sanding vehicles with plow and wing

Is available for flexible and irregular work schedules, including early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays, based on weather conditions.  Be storm-ready!  Get that overtime pay!

Takes real pride in a job well done

Is able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Is a dependable team player who shows up and gives 100%

Likes getting that overtime pay as well as holiday pay

What You’ll Do:

Work includes (but isn’t limited to):

  • Plowing snow with wing truck (plow like a pro!)
  • Loading, hauling and spreading salt and sand
  • Light maintenance and mechanical work
  • The regular 4AM-Noon Monday-Friday schedule plus overtime

 Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • CDL Class A or B
  • A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to safety
  • Successfully pass background checks and drug and alcohol screenings
