NOW HIRING – HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN 1 OR 2
The Town of Ferrisburgh is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Ferrisburgh Highway Department as a full-time Highway Maintenance Technician 1 or 2.
The Highway Department is responsible for maintaining approximately 80 miles of Town roads, including grading, ditching, road rebuilding, mowing, tree cutting, and winter plowing.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with Class B CDL or higher
- Heavy equipment experience preferred
- Winter road maintenance experience preferred
- Must reside within 30 minutes of the Town Garage
- 40-hour work week, four 10-hour days (6:00 AM–4:00 PM), Fridays off
- Required overtime during the winter months
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain vehicles and equipment
- Pre-employment drug screening required

Compensation
