Recycling Coordinator

Mount Ascutney Regional Commission (MARC) is seeking a motivated Recycling Coordinator to support regional waste reduction, recycling, and household hazardous waste programs for the Southern Windsor/Windham Counties Solid Waste Management District.

This position will coordinate recycling initiatives, support municipalities and transfer station operators, administer household hazardous waste programs, maintain regulatory records, assist with special collection events, and provide public education and outreach.

Qualifications: a bachelor’s degree in Community Development, Environmental Science or similar degree preferred. A candidate with no degree but with relevant experience will be considered. Strong communication, organization, and project management skills are essential. Experience in recycling, solid waste management, environmental programs, municipal services, or a related field is preferred.

Schedule: 30–34 hours/week
Pay: $25-$32/hour, depending on education and experience
