The Town is seeking a full-time Road Crew Member to join the team! From plowing snow in the winter to grading and maintaining roads in the summer, you’ll be part of the team that keeps our community moving.
What You'll Do
• Operate and maintain heavy equipment including plow trucks, graders, loaders, and mowers
• Perform year-round road maintenance, including plowing, sanding, salting, grading, and patching
• Repair and maintain drainage systems, culverts, and roadside ditches
• Assist with bridge cleaning, roadside mowing, and debris removal
• Keep accurate daily records of work performed, materials used, and equipment maintenance
• Follow safety protocols and contribute to a strong culture of teamwork and safety
What We're Looking For
• Experience operating heavy equipment and commercial vehicles
• CDL Class B or higher preferred
• Knowledge of road maintenance techniques, materials, and seasonal practices
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and respond to emergency callouts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to serving the public
• Mechanical aptitude for basic equipment maintenance and repairs
