**NOW HIRING – HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN I / II**
The Town of Ferrisburgh is looking for a dependable and motivated individual to join the Ferrisburgh Highway Department!
Pay: $22.00–$28.50/hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week — Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM
Location: Ferrisburgh Highway Department
CDL: Class B CDL or higher required
The Highway Department maintains approximately 80 miles of Town roads. Responsibilities include road grading, ditching, roadway maintenance, mowing, tree and brush removal, snow and ice operations, and operating and maintaining trucks and heavy equipment.
Winter emergency/on-call work is required, including nights, weekends and holidays. Employees must be able to report to the Highway Department within approximately 30 minutes during winter emergencies.
Qualifications include:
• Valid driver's license and Class B CDL or higher
• Ability to safely operate trucks and heavy equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
• Ability to perform physical outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Ability to maintain and inspect vehicles and equipment
Previous highway maintenance, heavy equipment, snow removal or mechanical experience is preferred.
