OPPORTUNITY: The Town of Shaftsbury, VT is looking for a DPW Foreman.
JOB SUMMARY: The DPW Foreman position is a benefits eligible, full-time, 40-hour per week position in the Town of Shaftsbury. This position requires
supervisory, administrative, and hands-on skills. The DPW Foreman is
responsible for scheduling, planning and coordinating the work of the Road Crew
in the construction and maintenance of town highways, equipment, and property.
This position works within established policies and procedures and
is accountable to the Town Administrator and Shaftsbury Selectboard.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting pay range is $30.00-$35.00/hour with
competitive benefits and a retirement plan. This job involves overtime, at time-and-a-half, as per law.
