The Town of Duxbury, VT is looking for bids on hauling 5,000 tons of winter sand from Northeast Materials in Graniteville, VT. All sand must be delivered by November 1, 2026. All bids must be delivered, or mailed, in sealed envelopes labeled “Winter Sand Hauling” to the Duxbury Town Office at 5421 Vermont Route 100 Duxbury Vermont 05676. All bids are due by August 5, 2pm. Note that there is an exterior secure mailbox to deposit bids after hours. Bids can be emailed to the town clerk prior to the deadline at townclerk@duxburyvermont.com. Bid award will happen at the selectboard meeting scheduled for 8/10/26. Material will be direct billed to the Town of Duxbury and haul slips must be turned in.
