Description: The Hartland Recreation Department is seeking a motivated and organized Part-Time Athletic Director / Assistant Recreation Director to oversee all Hartland Elementary School (K–8) athletic programs. Working under the supervision of the Recreation Director, this position is responsible for coordinating sports seasons, scheduling practices and games, recruiting and supporting coaches, communicating with families, managing equipment and facilities, and serving as the primary liaison between the school, recreation department, leagues, and community partners. The Athletic Director will play a key role in creating positive and successful athletic experiences for student-athletes while promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and youth development. In addition to athletic program oversight, the position will provide support for Recreation Department programs, events, facilities, communications, and administrative functions as needed throughout the year. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, experience working with youth sports or recreation programs, and a passion for serving the Hartland community.
