POSITION SUMMARY: The Town of Vershire Treasurer is responsible for all the statutory requirements of a town treasurer, including but not limited to management of all fiscal functions in connection with maintaining the town’s accounts. The Treasurer performs administrative tasks related to collecting revenues, processing accounts payable and payroll, managing town employee benefits and tracking health insurance updates.
The Treasurer is an appointed position with an initial one-year term and renewable for a three-year term thereafter pending positive reviews. A complete position description is available here: Position description
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting pay range is $28.00-$30.00/hour with competitive benefits and a retirement plan.
