JOB OPENING: There is a full-time position available for a Road Superintendent in the Town of Vershire Highway Department.
JOB SUMMARY: The Vershire Road Superintendent is a benefits eligible, full-time 40 hour per week position in the Town of Vershire. This position requires supervisory, administrative, and hands-on skills. The Road Superintendent is responsible for scheduling, planning and coordinating the work of the Road Crew in the construction and maintenance of town highways, equipment, and property. This position works independently within established policies and procedures and is accountable to the Vershire Selectboard.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting pay range is $30.00-$35.00/hour with competitive benefits and a retirement plan.
