Welcome Center Cleaning Services
2026-2027
The Town of Woodstock is soliciting proposals from cleaning contractors for the cleaning of the Welcome Center that is located at 3 Mechanic Street in the parking lot. The contract period is for one year.
· The Welcome Center is open seven days a week from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, at other times by special request.
· Cleaning must be done daily
· Daily:
o Sweep front porch
o Mop the bathroom floors & lobby floor
o Clean all toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, shelves, trash receptacles, hand dryers, urinal dividers, toilet stalls, baby changing stations, wall areas around all sinks and below hand dryers
o Change and replace all toilet paper rolls in all stalls
o Refill soap dispensers
o Clean fingerprints off door casings
· Weekly:
o Clean all walls in bathrooms
o Wash windows
o Dust windowsills, ceilings, and other surfaces, be sure woodwork is dust free
· As needed:
o Change light bulbs
o Clean woodwork and baseboards
o Other services
· The Town will provide all cleaning supplies and cleaning hardware, paper products, etc. Cleaning contractor to notify the Town weekly of a list of cleaning supplies and paper products that are running low or cleaning equipment that needs to be replaced.
· All cleaning supplies will be stored on site in a janitorial closet and all supplies will be provided by the management; cleaning company will be given keys to the building and to the supply closet.
· Please provide a per hour rate that you will charge the Town to be the cleaning contractor for this job.
· Please provide an estimated number of hours per week that you expect will take you to perform these tasks.
· It is vital that this facility be in pristine condition
· A list of qualifications of the cleaning service and the name of the primary person to do the cleaning must be submitted.

Award will be based on price and other considerations. All bidders must include proof of Worker’s Compensation and liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 with the Town listed as an additional insured at time of award. Women and minority owned businesses are encouraged to submit a proposal. The Town of Woodstock reserves the right to reject any and all bids received.
