The Town of Winhall, Vermont (pop. 1,100) is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Town Administrator. Located at the base of Stratton Mountain Resort, Winhall provides core governmental services in police and rescue, highway, solid waste, and short-term rentals. The Administrator works under the direction of the five-member Selectboard and is responsible for coordinating the people, projects, and programs of the Town. Winhall has 15 full-time and 9 part-time employees, and an annual operating budget of $6.9 Million (FY27). A job description is available at winhall.org.
Previous experience in town government, human resource management, business management, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with elected officials, staff, and the public are preferred. Good people skills are essential. This is a full-time in-person position based in the town offices. Anticipated hiring range of $80,000 - $95,000 with excellent benefits package.
