The Town of Fletcher is seeking a dependable, motivated individual to join our highway department. This is an opportunity to be part of a small, dedicated team that keeps our community moving year-round—from responding to winter storms to maintaining roads and infrastructure throughout the summer.

What You’ll Do
- Operate and maintain highway equipment (plow trucks, loaders, graders, etc.)
- Perform year-round road and bridge maintenance
- Assist with snow removal, sanding, and storm response
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs
- Work both independently and as part of a team
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Vermont driver’s license with Class B CDL (or ability to obtain)
- Clean driving record
- Mechanical aptitude and equipment experience preferred
- Willingness to work overtime during storms and emergencies
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must comply with random drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment
This is a hands-on, outdoor position with varying seasonal demands. Winter storm response will require overtime and flexible hours, balanced by more predictable schedules during other times of the year.
