Town of Fairfax, Main Street Sidewalk Project Fairfax TAP TA20(3)

Bids from pre-qualified contractors shall be accepted until 2:00 PM prevailing time on Friday, April 24th, 2026 for construction of the project hereinafter described. A public bid opening will occur at the Fairfax Town Office immediately after the bid submittal deadline. The time of receiving and opening bids may be postponed due to emergencies or unforeseen conditions.

PROJECT LOCATION: Beginning at a point on VT Route 104 approximately 19 feet west of the intersection of Huntville Rd and VT Route 104 and progressing 1289 feet west to approximately 200 feet west of the intersection of Paige Rd and VT Route 104.

TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION: Work to be performed under this project includes the construction of concrete sidewalk, granite curb, drainage, signs, pavement and pavement markings.

CONTRACT COMPLETION DATE: The Contract shall be completed on or before November 13th, 2026. . STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS: This contract is governed by the Vermont Agency of Transportation 2024 Standard Specifications for Construction.
