JOIN OUR TEAM— South Burlington is seeking dedicated Summer Bike Patrollers. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in public safety. If you’re passionate about serving your community, this position offers a chance to make a meaningful difference in South Burlington!
WHAT YOU WILL DO: As a Summer Bike Patrol, you will:
· Give directions, render first aid, and alert emergency medical services to sick or injured person(s), assist persons with disabled equipment (such as bicycles, roller blades, scooters, etc.).
· Observe and report suspected criminal activity and safety deficiencies such as path surfaces, missing signage, vandalism, or City-owned property in need of repair, etc.
· Engage the community and its visitors in a professional and inviting manner.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: 18 years of age or older, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to ride a bicycle. Pre-employment criminal background check required.
SALARY RANGE: $22.13 Hourly
