TOWN SEEKS NEW ZONING ADMINISTRATOR/HEALTH OFFICER/ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER/E-911 COORDINATOR
Zoning Administrator duties include processing local permits, staffing the municipal development review boards, zoning enforcement, and participating in appeals. The ideal candidate has knowledge and skills in land use planning and development review through professional, educational or volunteer experiences. This position requires effective written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a strong customer service ethic. Regular night meetings are expected. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. The position will require work in an office setting at the Pittsford municipal offices.
The health officer is on an as needed basis to communicate with the Town and citizens on health-related matters.
The animal control officer is on an as needed basis to handle dog complaints and other animal control concerns for the Town or the citizens.
The E-911 coordinator works with the State to assign 911 address numbers to all new buildings in the Town of Pittsford.
