Recreation Department Weekend Help
The Town of Barre Recreation Department is seeking a dependable and enthusiastic part-time Seasonal Weekend Helper to assist with operations. This position is ideal for individuals looking to work part-time and make a positive impact on the local community. The role will support the main recreation area on Saturday and Sundays by opening it and ensuring that all facilities are ready for guest arrival. Essential responsibilities and duties include:
•Cleaning and replenishing supplies in the Recreation Bathrooms.
•Inspect and supervise recreational facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness.
•Empty Trash Cans in the Recreation area.
•Help organize and maintain equipment and supplies for recreational programs.
Requirements include must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and ability to interact with a diverse group of people. Reliable, punctual, and committed to a weekend work schedule. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform light physical tasks.
This is a seasonal, part-time weekend shift position (Saturdays and Sundays only). Hours are from 5:30 am to 7:30 am. Would consider being flexible with hours if necessary. Must be available to work for the duration of the season, from May to October. Occasional arrangements can be made for time off on a weekend.
This is a seasonal part-time position that does not offer any benefits. The rate of pay is $18.00 per hour.
