Administrative Assistant, Town Manager’s Office

FLSA Designation: Non-exempt/Full-time     Pay Classification: Grade 1, Clerical Union

Department: Administration             Pay Range: $24.27 – $32.76/hr          

Nature and Scope of Position

To provide administrative support to the Town Manager’s Office; to manage delinquent tax records and related processes; and to perform a variety of administrative, clerical, and coordination duties for the Town Manager and, as needed, other Town administrators and departments. This role serves as a key public-facing position, emphasizing professionalism, discretion, and efficient use of digital tools in a municipal environment.

Starting pay for this position is $24.27/hr. Benefit package includes health insurance with generous HRA and $600 well-being rewards; dental insurance; life insurance; VMERS pension plan; discounted gym membership; vacation, sick, and personal days; and 14 paid holidays.
