The Town of Rockingham and the Village of Bellows Falls are seeking an experienced, collaborative Municipal Manager to lead and coordinate the day-to-day operations of our historic and vibrant community and to implement policy set by the Selectboard and Village Trustees. This position offers an opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a significant impact on municipal infrastructure development while working in a collaborative environment that values innovation and excellence in public service delivery.
The successful candidate will bring strong experience in statutory and regulatory compliance and municipal administration, along with proven leadership and communication skills, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively while managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing public works, public safety, utilities, and community services
- Ensuring accurate budgeting, financial management, and reporting
- Managing personnel and collective bargaining matters, including union negotiations
- Representing the municipality with residents, businesses, regional partners, and agencies
- Supporting economic development and community engagement initiatives
