Maintenance I - Highway Worker
$24.51-$25.66/hr. DOE with an excellent benefits package.
Dept. of Public Works is seeking a motivated and collaborative person, with a safety mindset, to join its highway maintenance team. This full-time opportunity offers work/life balance, with a Monday thru Friday, 7AM – 3PM schedule. Opportunities for overtime.
Provides routine maintenance and repairs to Town infrastructure, including buildings and grounds, streets and sidewalks, drainage systems and snow removal. Operation of light equipment and a variety of hand tools.
Experience operating light equipment, buildings and grounds maintenance, construction, snow removal, or driving commercial trucks preferred, but will train the right person. A valid Driver’s License is required, Commercial Driver’s License preferred. Opportunity to obtain a CDL at no cost.
