Town of Waitsfield – Road Department
Road & Property Maintainer

The Town of Waitsfield is seeking a dependable, motivated, and experienced individual to join our Road Department as a Road and Property Maintainer. This full-time position involves the year-round maintenance of the Town’s Road network and certain public lands, including snow plowing in the winter and mowing in the summer.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment, mechanical skills, and the ability to work cooperatively as part of a four-person road crew. A CDL is preferred but not required at the time of hire.

Position Details:

• Full-time: 40 hours/week
• Some on-call and overtime hours, particularly during winter
• Hourly wage: $25.00–$29.00, based on experience
• Includes a generous benefits package
