The Lyndonville Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Officer.  This department is a community-oriented, results-focused law enforcement agency.  An interested candidate with at least 12 months’ experience in law enforcement in the State of Vermont is desired but not required. An applicant with full-time certification from another state with equivalent training recognized under waiver by the Vermont Criminal Justice Training Council, who has successfully completed field training and initial probation, may also be acceptable. 

Interested applicants must be in good standing with their current Department or have left their last Department in good standing, as verified by a thorough background investigation. This is a full-time, year-round position with a competitive wage and municipal benefit package.
